79 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Alberta, Canada, from 735 recorded finds. The best known are Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus.

Most of the fossils come from the Dinosaur Park Formation, the Oldman Formation, the Horseshoe Canyon Formation, the Milk River Formation and the Foremost Formation.
