Dinosaurs found in
Romania
16 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Romania, from 98 recorded finds. The best known are Hypsilophodon, Magyarosaurus and Zalmoxes.
Most of the fossils come from the Sînpetru Formation, the Densuș-Ciula Formation, the Sebeş Formation, the Pui Beds Formation and the Râul Mare Formation.
