Dinosaurs found in
Japan
15 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Japan, from 16 recorded finds. The best known are Hypsilophodon, Fukuiraptor and Segnosaurus.
Most of the fossils come from the Kitadani Formation, the Ohyamashimo Formation, the Jobu Formation, the Kuwajima Formation and the Hakobuchi Formation.
