About Laiyangosaurus
What it was like
Laiyangosaurus was a duckbill, a plant eater related to Edmontosaurus. It is known from part of a skull.
Its world
It lived in the Late Cretaceous, in what is now China. It comes from the Jingangkou Formation, where it shared the land with the crested duckbill Tsintaosaurus and the plant eater Tanius.
How it was found
Zhang and colleagues named Laiyangosaurus in 2019. The type species is Laiyangosaurus youngi.
