About Taohelong
What it was like
Taohelong was an armored plant eater, a nodosaur related to Polacanthus. It is known from a tail bone, ribs, part of the hip and pieces of armor.
Its world
It lived in the Early Cretaceous in what is now northern China. The sauropod Yongjinglong lived in the same region.
How it was found
Yang and colleagues named it in 2013. It was the first polacanthine armored dinosaur found in Asia.
