About Dubreuillosaurus
What it was like
Dubreuillosaurus was a megalosaur, a two-legged meat eater related to Megalosaurus. Its skull was long and very low, and it may have fed on fish and other animals along the coast.
Its world
It lived in the Middle Jurassic, in what is now France. At the time the area was a coastline with mangrove-like swamps.
How it was found
Allain named Dubreuillosaurus in 2005, from a skeleton first described as a species of another megalosaur. The fossil had been found in a quarry, broken into many pieces.
