About Muyelensaurus
What it was like
Muyelensaurus was a small, slender titanosaur, a long-necked plant eater related to Rinconsaurus. It is known from bones of several animals.
Its world
It lived in the Late Cretaceous, in what is now Argentina. It comes from the Plottier Formation, where the titanosaurs Antarctosaurus and Petrobrasaurus also lived.
How it was found
Calvo and colleagues named Muyelensaurus in 2007. Its name comes from a native name for a nearby river.
