About Oplosaurus
What it was like
Oplosaurus is known from a single large tooth, which came from a long-necked, four-legged plant eater. The tooth is broad and spoon-shaped.
Its world
It lived in the Early Cretaceous in what is now southern England.
How it was found
Gervais named Oplosaurus in 1852, from a single tooth. Because so little of it is known, many scientists think the name is doubtful.
