4 kinds of dinosaur have been found in Uruguay, from 6 recorded finds. The best known are Torvosaurus, Aeolosaurus and Mesetasaurus.
Most of the fossils come from the Tacuarembó Formation, the Guichón Formation and the Asencio Formation.
